How should we understand it and make it our friend?
Next 40 years will be marked by dramatic change of course towards material and energy efficiency. This happens particularly because there is increasing political pressure to reduce the harmful outputs of the system as well as to provide alternative to prevent wasteful practices. I will show how resource productivity will shape the city politics, corporate agendas as well as national innovation systems.
